Manchester City Win Fourth Straight Premier League Title
City Crowned Champions After 3-1 Victory Over West Ham
Manchester City have won the Premier League title for the fourth consecutive season after a 3-1 win over West Ham at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. Nathan Ake opened the scoring for City on 50 minutes with a bullet header, before Erling Haaland doubled the lead just five minutes later.
West Ham's Away Woes Continue
West Ham have now lost 15 of their 17 Premier League away games against Manchester City at the Etihad. The Hammers' only two wins came in 2003 and 2015.
Walker Impresses for City
Kyle Walker was one of Manchester City's standout performers on Sunday. The right-back used his recovery speed on a couple of occasions to deny West Ham promising attacks.
Haaland Breaks Record
Haaland's goal was his 22nd of the season, setting a new single-season record for Manchester City. The Norwegian striker has now scored 26 goals in all competitions for City.
