GPT-4o Now Available

Faster, Cheaper, and More Powerful

Developers can now access GPT-4o in the API as a text and vision model. GPT-4o is 2x faster, half the price, and has 5x higher rate limits than GPT-4 Turbo. It has the same high intelligence but is faster, cheaper, and has higher rate limits.

The OpenAI API is powered by a diverse set of models with different capabilities and price points. You can also make customizations to our models for your specific needs.

GPT-3.5 Turbo, DALL-E, and Whisper APIs are also generally available. We are releasing a deprecation plan for older models of GPT.

GPT-4o, short for "omni," is designed to handle a combination of text, audio, and video inputs. It can generate outputs in a variety of formats, including text, images, and videos.
