Likely Hulk to Face Red Hulk
Anthony Mackie, who is set to make his debut as Captain America in the upcoming Captain America 4, has hinted at the possibility of another Avenger joining the film. Speaking to the media, as reported by Entertainment Weekly, Mackie revealed a major spoiler by confirming that the Hulk could make a return.
The Hulk's Return
The return of the Hulk would certainly be a big deal in the MCU. We last saw Mark Ruffalo as Hulk in the MCU during the She-Hulk series, where he passed on his powers to his cousin, Jennifer Walters. However, it is possible that Hulk could return in a different capacity in Captain America 4.
Facing Red Hulk
One possibility is that Hulk could return to face off against Red Hulk, who is rumored to be the main villain in Captain America 4. Red Hulk is a powerful villain who has been a recurring enemy of the Hulk in the comics. If he does appear in the film, it would set up an epic battle between two of the strongest characters in the MCU.
Brave New World
The possibility of Hulk's return was further hinted at during Marvel's Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con, where a new teaser for Brave New World was shown. The teaser featured a shot of a green hand, which many fans believe is a nod to Hulk's return.
Of course, it is also possible that Mackie was simply joking about Hulk's return. However, given the recent rumors and the hints in the Brave New World teaser, it is certainly a possibility that we could see the Hulk back in action in Captain America 4.
